Looking for a children’s book called “Benjamin’s Blanket”?
or “Ben’s Blanket” or Benji’s Blanket (Benjy’s Blanket)? I read it about 35 years ago, it’s about a little boy who loves his special security blanket, but it get’s more and more tattered, and one day a bird picks apart the rest of it to line her nest for her eggs, and the boy is comforted that his blanket is needed for keeping the baby birds comfy. Probably around 1st or 2nd grade level text.
The book is called Benjy’s Blanket by Myra Berry Brown. It was published in 1962 by F. Watts (New York).
Unfortunately I’ve not been able to find a retailer. Sorry.
