My house is the same temp as yours, and my boy sleeps in a sleeper with a semi thick blanket. My son is like his mom and is always cold in the hands and feet so that keeps him warm enough that he’ll sleep through the night. |

One Year Baby Bedding
and at what age do they go to just 1 nap a day? my babies a year old and as much as i try to put her to bed early instead of taking her late second nap she always wakes up bc its a habit now. will she just grow out of it someday?thanks oh and just putting another question out there.. how often does your baby poop if they’re around 1 year? mine goes every 3-4 days …normal? Mine went to one nap a day around 2 years old. Your daughter will outgrow her 2nd nap by herself, it’s better if you don’t try to force the issue. Regarding the pooping: The frequency is not so much of an issue. It’s what their poop is like. Is it hard and small and difficult for her to pass? If it is, then that’s a problem. Make sure she’s eating enough fiber and drinking enough fluids. If her poop is normal looking and she has no problem getting it out, then it’s fine. |

Baby Blanket Set
I have loads of baby blankets, do I still need to buy a “crib comforter set”? (would you recommend I do?) No pillows, am I correct? How about stuffed animals? Does the baby sleep under a blanket or do I need to wait and the baby only sleeps on top of the blanket? I’m going to be a new mom and need to know the basics, thanks! I’m 34 weeks Absolutely nothing in the crib ever. If you dress them appropriate they never need blankets or stuffed animals. Your baby will be born in the summer so long sleeve onesies should get them thru the night comfortably. My daughter is 10 months and we are going to buy her a crib toy to hang on the side of the crib for her to play with now since she’s moving around. We asked for the comforter set for the baby shower but have used nothing but the sheet out of it. |

Boy Crib
im 20 weeks and i find out if im having a boy or girl wednesday. im soo excited, anyway..if its a girl im for sure getting a white crib. i like white way better than the brown ones but i dont know if a white one would be too girly for a boy. which did you buy for your little boy? We did white for our son. I worried that it would be too girly but I had fallen in love with our crib (its a beautiful 4 poster crib) and I decided just to work with it. We got a matching dresser and I painted the knobs blue to match his decor. White is neutral, it doesn’t have to be done with girl colors. Our sons colors are blue and brown and his room is great looking. i am thinking about trying to sell my hand crafted baby quilt and sheet sets on ebay. I just wanted a quick count to see if people would actually buy them or if i am wasting my time. and also if that’s the case what would a reasonable price to charge? The 4 i have already made and given away as gifts cost around $20.00 each to make. all opinions are welcome. I would try marketing your stuff on Etsy.com first. It’s free to set up a shop, and only costs something like 3.5% of each sale. You won’t lose any money because it is an online marketplace rather than an auction. The problem with ebay is that sometimes you are losing money when your item doesn’t sell. I would make sure and buy all of your fabrics wholesale or at least on sale or clearance to keep costs down too. |
